Job Description: <\/strong>The Fuel Tanker Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of fuel to designated locations. The driver must operate the tanker in accordance with company-approved procedures, road safety regulations, and health, safety, security, and environmental requirements. The role also includes conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining trip records, and ensuring that all fuel-loading and unloading activities are completed safely and efficiently.<\/p>

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Transport fuel safely to assigned locations according to the approved journey plan.<\/li>
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tanker and report any defects immediately.<\/li>
  • Ensure the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of fuel.<\/li>
  • Follow company policies, Journey Management System requirements, and safety instructions.<\/li>
  • Maintain accurate trip, delivery, fuel, and vehicle inspection records.<\/li>
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicle and ensure it is kept clean and roadworthy.<\/li>
  • Report accidents, delays, vehicle faults, spills, or safety concerns to management.<\/li>
  • Comply with all traffic regulations and approved operating procedures.

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

    • A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence is required.<\/li>
    • Candidates should be between 25 and 35 years old.<\/li>
    • Practical experience in fuel transportation, tanker operations, or trailer driving is preferred.<\/li>
    • Knowledge of defensive driving and road-safety procedures is required.<\/li>
    • Candidates must be able to follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.<\/li>
    • Good communication and basic record-keeping skills are required.<\/li>
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different locations is necessary.<\/li>
