Job Description: The trip planner acts as the link between drivers and transport locations, planning and organizing trips from start to finish, ensuring adherence to company-approved systems. They also monitor drivers throughout the trips, overseeing all operational aspects to guarantee compliance with work plans, safety instructions, and approved operating requirements, ultimately achieving the highest levels of efficiency in transport operations.



Responsibilities:

  • Monitor In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) for transport activities and driver behavior.
  • Conduct pre-journey briefings and train drivers on the Journey Management System.
  • Track fuel consumption, monitor driver violations, and report to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

 


 

Qualifications:

  • University diploma or high school diploma with a driver’s license.
  • Candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • Practical field experience in the same area is necessary.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures is mandatory.
  • Priority will be given to candidates holding an Opal Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) certification.
